This blog post details what persona my team and I decided on for our star to be reflected in our products.

Reflection : I find this task to be extremely valuable, as it allowed my teammates (Rachelle and Jasmine) and me to collaborate, brainstorm, and refine the star persona we aim to construct. Through this process, we were able to break down key elements such as our target audience, Jasmine’s on-screen (reel) and off-screen (real) persona, and how she engages with her fans. Additionally, this classwork has been particularly useful for me in shaping the content for Jasmine’s social media presence. It provided clarity on the type of posts needed to maintain a cohesive brand identity, as well as the style of communication and tone that aligns with her persona. This makes implementation more seamless, as we now have a clearer understanding of the persona that we made. Since branding is an important part of this project, these insights can be applied across all aspects, from the music video to the digipak and social media. While no additional research was required, we did discussed various persona and branding strategies to make sure that the one we developed now was the most effective choice and the best fit.
